Adult CPR

Adult CPR trains individuals to recognize emergencies and to render care for victims age 12 or older until more advanced help is available. Training includes preventing disease transmission, assisting choking / drowning victims and cardio-Pulmonary resuscitation.

Trains individuals to use an automated external Defibrillator in conjunction with CPR. Studies show that for each minute that defibrillation is delayed for victims of cardiac Arrest, chances of survival decrease by about 10%.

Adult CPR Review

For individuals who were certified in CPR in the previous year. There are two components that are available for review: Adult CPR (ACPR) and Infant & Child CPR (I&C). Each requires about 2.5 hours. Please call us to specify if you want to attend both components or just one.
2.5-hours per component, $35.00
for one component, $40.00 for both. No materials are included, bring your booklet from last year!

Babysitter's Training

This course includes training in decision making, accepting resposibility, selecting safe toys/plays, providing personal care (toileting, hand-washing, feeding, helping children rest) preventing injuries, handling emergencies and providing first aid. Participants must be age 11 or older.

Workplace Training

Whether you need to train 2 or 2,000 employees, we can help provide high-quality safety training when and where you need it.

  • Option1: A Red Cross Instructor can come to your facility and train your employees at a time that works for you - daytime, evening or weekends
  • Option 2: Become an authorized provider and have staff members trained as red Cross instructors to provide first aid, CPR and AED training on-site. This cost-effective option allows you to schedule training when and where you need it, with instructots familiar with your specific emergency procedures.
  • Option 3: For those bsinesses that have only a few employees who need training, your local Red Cross chapter has classes available at community locations.
  • Option 4: Enroll employees in our Blended Learning training. the first part of the Training is accessed online at the employee's convenience, followed by an instructor-led skills practice and assessment.

Refund Policy

Pre-payment is required for registration!

Students who cancel 48 hours in advance may be re-assigned to another class one time without penalty. A $5.00 processing fee will be charged against refunds for cancellation. Refund requests must be in writing and made within 30 days of cancellation. Original receipt must accompany refund request. Fees paid for "no-shows" will be considered a contribution.
