The American Red Cross is a volunteer led organization that provides relief to victims of disaster and helps people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergenices.   Volunteers are the heart and soul of the organization! 

If you are new to the area or a long time resident of Manatee or Hardee County, your compassion and dedication can make a difference in someone's life!  Whether you choose to dedicate several hours a week or one day a year, we need your help! All training is provided free of charge and varies according to your area of interest.

Volunteer Orientation

The first step towards becoming a Red Cross volunteer is to attend a Volunteer Orientation. Here you'll learn about the history of the Red Cross, our mission, what we do and how you can get involved! Orientations are offered free of charge at our offices. To register for an orientation, call our Headquarters at (941) 792 8686.
